Event Information
International Women’s Day (IWD) has been around for over a hundred years, as have many of the issues that still impact women’s advancement. Since 1911, IWD belongs to all who care about women’s equality. The theme of IWD 2025 is Accelerate Action for gender equality.
At Wortley Hall we hold an annual event to celebrate women’s achievement, with food and interesting speakers, and a chance to spend an afternoon with others.
This years theme is “moving forward together: women educating and inspiring generations”. We are excited to welcome guest speaker Rachel Medina CEO of the Snowdrop Project, who will be talking about the project and working with women and their families. We also have a surprise guest speaker joining us on the day!
Tickets are priced at £25.00 and include an arrival tea & coffee and delicious pie & peas.
Arrive 12:30pm for 1pm start (lunch will be served prior to our guest speakers)
