The Lions of Rotherham – An original, historical and educational play based on the four Rotherham men who fought against Fascism in the Spanish Civil War.
Using extensive research, diaries, oral history interviews and recordings, with much of the script taken from the actual words of the men. Five local actors take on epic battles and give an insight in to the backgrounds, beliefs and reasons for the four men and many many more volunteering to help the Spanish people. Find out what became of them and the impact they have had. Live music and singing from writer/director Karen Mulcahey.
Tickets for are priced at £25.00 and include pie and peas on arrival.
Food served from 6pm. Performance starts at 7:30pm in our Ballroom.
